Seasoned Danish songwriter Stefan Avivson makes his triumphant return following the 2018 release of ‘We Are Who We Are’ with ‘It’s Alright’, a wholesome, self-reflective pop-rock EP that details a series of hardships for Avivson, catalysed by the passing of his mother, and his personal rise from the ashes of depression.
With a driving bassline and impassioned vocals, ‘Stand Tall’ sees Avivson tackle themes of self-doubt and anxiety as he attempts to turn his sorrows to strengths. The grief-motivated track excellently showcases Avivson’s humble songwriting, as well the uniquely nostalgic production of Kim Hyttel, and undoubtedly adds to the sincerity of the Scandinavian’s debut EP.
